Harrison Rohr and Exquisite Stationery
Having helped create the image and establish the hotels in which he has worked as Director of Catering as the “ne plus ultra” in elegance, style and service, Harrison Rohr is one of Atlanta’s most respected and well-liked figures. Having entered the hospitality industry “to learn the true meaning of ultra-luxury service,” Harrison has taken the caliber of service to new dimensions, most recently during his tenure at the St. Regis Atlanta from its opening in 2008 until early this year, and before that at the Four Seasons, the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead and in Washington, D.C. at The Willard. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia, Harrison is at home anywhere in the world.
Wedding and débutante party invitations are also part of the fine papers designs Exquisite Stationery by Harrison Rohr offers. “While Letterpress seems to be the ‘hot’ print method, I find there’s nothing that makes a statement like traditional engraving. Again, the print method reflects the bride’s personal taste, style and personality,” Harrison commented. “Regardless of the print method, today’s invitations range from traditional to contemporary, bold and dramatic to soft and subtle. While many like to add a pop of color or hand-beveled painted edging, the traditional invitation will forever be timeless.”
The Exquisite Stationery by Harrison Rohr boutique was designed by the owner. Harrison explained that, “I wanted a boutique experience, where someone could meet with me one-on-one in an elegant, yet comfortable residential setting…. a respite to the hectic planning stages of any event.”
At the Buckhead studio of Exquisite Stationery by Harrison Rohr, clients may also meet Beatrice, a 5 year old English Pointer, who according to Harrison, “ Loves coming to the office; she has her own nap bed in her own quarters, so if a client is not dog-friendly, Beatrice knows how to behave. For dog aficionados, Beatrice is a great ambassadress for our company!”
